Here's a new piece of calligraphy I've been working on, the Norwegian table prayer my great grandmother Dagny Davnes taught us. This is done in Blackletter - a meaty, greedy and sensuous face. Quite different from the gentle flourishes of Copperplate. I'm digging the thick strokes and the ability to lay that much ink down on the paper.
