This is a brand new show coming in May that I'll be joining. I'll be selling more books and boxes and will also be giving teenie books away to the first 250 people in line for the show.

Cookie Jar

This is the cutest cookie jar on the planet. Mom gave it to me after it lived in Nonie and Bopie's kitchen for years and years. I don't remember using it when we visited as a child. Hoping some of those memories come back to me as a child. 

I want to make every single one of those cookies. Yum!!

Sugar Crash

Here's my little bird asleep after a short drive from Nanny's house. She gave him a cookie and a licorice stick for the drive home. The cookie never made it to his sweet little mouth. 

Moral Indignation

I found these ads quite brilliant, witty, lovingly dark and FUN. Don't know if my comment will be appreciated, or that I care, but maybe I do because I'm posting it here. Tommy is sitting here laughing with me. 

Guess what folks. There is no death: one of the things I'm learning with the Emotional Intuitive I'm seeing. She is brilliant and patient and is helping me heal the child within me who had no voice, who stuttered, whose jaw doesn't open fully,  whose head began to ache at too early an age with unexpressed rage and joy. 

Tommy took his life mercifully and is now continuing on his path. His rage was always more important than anything or anyone else. But not anymore. This child deserves her own power. Her own energy. Her own anger and love and joy. She is bigger than she's allowed herself to be. She is the strongest of them all. She is her own hero. Muffled no more. Good and angry.

So I look at these ads and am able to laugh at them today. I am in a different place.

Here's a needlepoint canvas I've been meaning to finish for about 10 years now. Gunther and Olaf (when he was just a wee kitten) and my favorite flower tulips. Happy Spring! And thank you to those who came out to the show. Had a really fun day and even made some foldin' money. I am smiling.
