Her stuff is so clearly more interesting...that's mean. But i guess i should say, to me it is so much more interesting to look at. Great to see her stuff, again!!!
I concur with maryk....definately....I was thinking the same thing and was going to post it, but thought...nah, I don't want to be an ass to those other artists, but hey, truth is truth...your mom rocks.
i'm agreeing with the other two about your mom. and here is why. it seems that she doesn't just paint what she sees, she paints what she feels. all of her stuff has that little bit of extra. most people can learn to paint and create works that mimic a photograph, but not everyone has the ability to add a bit of themselves and also interpret the feelings of the person or thing they are painting. if that makes sense.

Makes a LOT of sense. She says her goal is to tell a story - the one that you don't see right away. Her paintings are more conceptual.
thanks for your kudos!
I'll pass the word along to her.
Yup. Your mom's the best. Her work is moving--every piece.
Alls I can say about the rest of those artists is Robin's retty hot.
I owe you a "p" above.
Why is John's Creek fine art all women?
Good question, Mary. I personally think it should be named "Nancy's Creek"!
