I was prepared for the wait to be longer and colder. Everyone in line was excited and merry without knowledge of each other's inclination. Conversations skirted all the land mines.
Anne, I found your last post to be comforting. I want to know that both candidates are called and prepared to lead this country through these next 4 years. Everyone wants a change. The acerbic replies to your posts may just come out of fear and displaced anger. I personally am pretty "chicken" and keep myself below the radar so I miss the rapid fire of those who cannot allow another opinion. It is like the stages of faith development (something I do know about). There is one early stage where an individual has chosen their own belief system but it is so fragile that it cannot withstand anyone else to have an opposing view. We hope we have grown beyond that embarrassing stage, realize that we have shared goals but differing ways to get there. I am working for my candidate by regularly volunteering at the campaign office and scheduled to go door to door. If my guy doesn't win I will support and pray for the choice of others.
Good for you Anne for sticking your neck out and I am sorry you got bitten. You've shown grace and style in the midst of it.
And to "Miss Crabby"..."shame on you. Go to your room"Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00577806433035651575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15157007.post-4820984028081286852008-10-30T10:42:00.000-04:002008-10-30T10:42:00.000-04:00Funny that he's only up by three points in the pol...Funny that he's only up by three points in the polls in AZ. He very well could lose his state. The same thing happened with Gore and TN, but important to note that the entire state of AZ is not endorsing McCain—in fact, barely half.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
